SRB's have 2 inclined rows of rollers running on a spherical raceway in the outer ring. This geometry offers very high axial and radial load carry capability in a self-aligning format.

Spherical roller thrust bearings
SRTB's have a single row of rollers to transfer load from one raceway to the other. They offer 
very high axial load carrying capacity at high speed while retaining radial load and self-aligning capabilities.
Available in pressed steel and machined brass cage designs.
